Hi from Erin

Hey there Opera fans! We're in the last stretch of our tour - sevenweeks left! It might seem like a long time, but considering we'vebeen on the road for fifteen weeks or so already, it doesn't feel likevery much time at all. When we're staying overnight somewhere, the question that inevitablycomes up every day is "what do you want to do for supper?". In a bigcity like Calgary, where we stay pretty frequently, there are a ton ofchoices. We can go out or order in, or stop at a grocery store forsome picnic-type food, and any kind of food we can imagine is prettymuch a phone call or train ride away. That's not always the case inmany other towns we visit, though I know that all of them have "hiddengems" of some sort. For example: last month on St. Patrick's Day, wefound ourselves in Drumheller for lunch. Since we had a ton of time,Matt, Jason, and I walkedaround the downtown area for a little while, window-shopping for aplace to eat. We ended up at an awesome place called the Village Cafe- St. Patty's specials were everywhere!I have a question for all you blog-followers: what's the best place toeat in your town? Perhaps somewhere off the beaten path, somewherethat folks "from away" might not normally try? It can be somewherethat serves food quickly, where we could make a quick lunch stop, or asit-down place where we could get a nice dinner. Let us know! We'realways up for trying some new dishes and meeting new people. It keepsthing interesting - and you know us, we're always up for an adventure!See you soon, friends! Love, Erin
